Adult Learning (Training) is recommended for Junior Leaders wishing to be a project advisor for girls earning the Girl Scout Bronze Award.
The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest award that can be earned by a Girl Scout Junior in the 4-5th grades. Guidelines for earning the Bronze Award are found in the Handbook section of The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting for Juniors.
The Girl Scout Bronze Award Training gives leadership strategies and applicable tips specific to the Girl Scout Bronze Award. This course has been developed with the help of volunteers, is trained by volunteers, and is intended for volunteers.
By the end of Bronze Award Training, you will be able to:
- Work with girls who have completed or nearly completed a Junior Journey and are ready to focus on the Bronze Award Take Action project.
- Understand what it means to Take Action and how to use the Guidelines for Girl Scout Juniors to support girls' efforts to make the world a better place.
