As a Girl Scout volunteer, you engage and inspire all girls to develop courage, character and confidence, to make the world a better place. The following resources are provided to insure you have the tools to make an impact and to support all girls. We have focused our efforts on building relationships with local agencies and nonprofits who are experts in these important areas. We will continue to update this page and would like to hear from you on resources you need.
The impact you have on all girls today truly enables their growth and fuels their tomorrow as our next generation of leadership who will change our world.
Girl Scouts of Orange County has partnered with OMID Multicultural Institute of Development, to provide mental health counseling to Girl Scouts at no cost to them. This program is made possible by a generous grant from the O.L. Halsell Foundation.
Counseling sessions are 50 minutes and can be for individual girls or for an entire troop. They can be conducted in person or via video conferencing for a maximum of 8 sessions total. GSOC respects the privacy of any and every girl utilizing OMID’s supportive counseling services and will never receive any information from OMID.
Parents, volunteers, and troop leaders can request an appointment for any registered Orange County Girl Scout using this form.
