AddictionResource.net offers a $1,000 scholarship for full-time students age 18 and over pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree. A first and runner-up prize is available through an essay contest, highlighting a subject that is common amongst students, binge drinking on college campuses.

Cirkled in Scholarship

The Cirkled in Scholarship is a quarterly scholarship of $2,500 with a generic theme of “Cirkled In - No Sweat” Scholarship and no essay. There is no minimum GPA or any income requirement for 8-12th grade students and the scholarship can be applied to any educational need, such as tuition, books, supplies, or transportation.

The Corinne Jeannine Shillings Foundation awards Academic Scholarships and Travel Scholarships to Silver and Gold Award Girl Scouts who plan to/are currently majoring/minoring in a foreign language at a four-year college/university or who plan to study abroad, regardless of their major/minor.


Create Real Impact Contest
Next Deadline: April 2025 
Impact Teen Drivers, a nonprofit organization founded by the California Highway Patrol, holds an annual contest and calls on students, ages 14-22, to showcase their positive solutions and strategies to stop the #1 killer of young people–car crashes caused by reckless and distracted driving! Students enter by using their creativity to either design a poster or produce a 3-minute video on the message of safety for passengers and drivers. There are two ways to enter: individual for personal prizes of $1,000, $500 or $250 OR one entry per high school with prizes of $10,000, $7,500 or $5,000 (ie. a group of Girl Scouts can contact their principal to ask to represent their high school.)

The Helen Diller Family Foundation honors 15 Jewish teens annually with awards of $36,000 each. The Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards recognize young changemakers who have significant impact in leading initiatives that embody the values of tikkun olam, repairing the world.

Edison Scholars

The Edison Scholars Program recognizes students who want to be makers of tomorrow — the dreamers, inventors, guardians and pioneers — those who dare to be great. Edison International will award $50,000 college scholarships to 30 high school seniors to help them follow their dreams in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) and empower them to change the world. This is a chance for students with big dreams to advance their education and take part in shaping a brighter future.


Edwards Lifesciences Scholarship Program

The Edwards Lifesciences Scholarship Program provides renewable $2,500 awards for students pursuing a major in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM majors). Applicants must be United States citizens or legal residents who are high school seniors and residents of Orange County, CA; Salt Lake County, UT; or Puerto Rico, and recipients must demonstrate financial need.


GSUSA Gold Award Scholarship Program

The 2023 GSUSA Gold Award Scholarship Program provided a $5,000 academic scholarship to one Gold Award Girl Scout per council who demonstrated extraordinary leadership, measurable and sustainable impact, and addressed an issue of global and/or national significance.


Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes

The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes, a program of the nonprofit organization Young Heroes Project, celebrates inspiring, public-spirited young people from diverse backgrounds all across North America. Each year, the Barron Prize honors 25 outstanding young leaders ages 8 to 18 who have made a significant positive difference to people and the environment.


LA Tutors
Next Deadline: the 20th of each month
LA Tutors awards students who showcase their creativity and make positive impacts with a $500 Innovation in Education scholarship. On an ongoing monthly basis, this scholarship is open to all currently enrolled high school, college, and graduate students who showcase their creativity while helping those around them (whether that be in a creative fundraiser, an inventive new app, series of blog posts on a particular theme, or another idea). The application deadline is 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month.


Medical Physician Preparation (MPP) Academy

MPP is an early outreach "pre-med and medical/health professional school readiness" program, committed to preparing the next generation of medical doctors (MD's | DO's), health professionals (i.e., Physician Assistants, Nurses, Dentists, EMTs/Paramedics) and scientists for the physician and healthcare workforce with scholarships and financial aid available.


$2,000 Nitro Scholarship

Taco Bell Ambition Accelerator

Taco Bell Foundation’s Ambition Accelerator aims to fuel the next generation’s bold ambitions for creating change.
