Girl Scouts of Orange County is preparing for an exciting move! This fall, our headquarters and Girl Scout Shop will relocate from Irvine to The Flight at Tustin Legacy. We’ll continue to update this FAQ with important dates, parking information, and other details as we get closer to opening.
Why is GSOC moving from its Irvine headquarters?
This decision reflects more than a year of thoughtful planning, financial analysis, and feedback from staff, volunteers, and members.
Moving to a smaller, more efficient headquarters will allow Girl Scouts of Orange County to reduce facility costs, invest more resources directly into programs and services for girls, and create a workspace that better reflects how we work today.
Why did GSOC choose Tustin?
Our new headquarters provides a modern, efficient workspace in a central Orange County location with convenient access to major freeways. The new space allows us to continue supporting members from across the county while being thoughtful about our long-term facility costs.
What does this mean for members in South Orange County?
While our administrative headquarters is moving from Irvine to Tustin, GSOC serves girls and volunteers throughout Orange County. Our Program Centers, Camp Scherman, community partner locations, and programs across the county are not affected by this move.
We remain committed to providing opportunities and support that are accessible to girls and volunteers throughout Orange County.
When is GSOC moving?
We anticipate relocating our headquarters and Girl Scout Shop in early October. Specific dates for the Irvine office and Shop closure and the opening of our new Tustin location will be shared as we get closer to the move.
We anticipate only limited interruptions to member services during the transition.
Where will the new headquarters be located?
Our new headquarters and Girl Scout Shop will be located at The Flight at Tustin Legacy.
We’ll provide the full address, detailed driving directions, a visitor map, and parking information before the new location opens.
Is the Girl Scout Shop moving, too?
Yes! The Girl Scout Shop will move with us to Tustin. Members will continue to be able to purchase uniforms, badges, insignia, apparel, gifts, and other Girl Scout essentials in person.
There may be a brief period when in-person shopping is unavailable during the move. Online shopping will remain available, and we’ll announce Irvine closing and Tustin opening dates in advance.
Are any GSOC Program Centers or camps closing?
No. This move only affects our administrative headquarters and Girl Scout Shop. GSOC Program Centers and Camp Scherman will continue serving girls and volunteers.
Where should I park when visiting the new headquarters?
Free parking will be available, but some GPS and navigation apps may direct visitors to nearby paid parking instead.
Before visiting, we strongly recommend using the GSOC Visitor Map & Parking Directions (Coming soon), which will direct you to the recommended complimentary parking area and show the walking route to our headquarters and Shop.
GSOC is unable to validate or reimburse paid parking.
Will there be signs directing me to GSOC?
Because of property guidelines at The Flight, GSOC is not permitted to place directional signage throughout the complex.
We’ll provide a detailed visitor map showing the recommended entrance, free parking area, and walking route to the GSOC Headquarters and Shop. We strongly recommend reviewing the map before your first visit rather than navigating directly to our street address.
Can I still meet with GSOC staff in person?
Yes. Staff will continue to be available for in-person meetings at our new Tustin headquarters and at Program Centers throughout Orange County. We recommend scheduling an appointment in advance to ensure the appropriate staff member is available.
How will I know about updates?
We’ll continue sharing important dates, parking information, Shop updates, and other details through email and at girlscoutsoc.org as we get closer to the move.
