GSOC Media Girls
The GSOC Media Girls are an outstanding team of creative, confident girls who represent GSOC in interviews, at events, and across digital campaigns. These girls share their stories—through writing, photography, panels, or media appearances—to amplify the good work happening in our council and spread the word about Girl Scouting!
Media Girls Opportunities:
- Represent GSOC at events and in interviews
- Join fun photo and video shoots to promote the council
- Train on Girl Scout Brand and create content
- Share personal stories with community members and donors
- Learn valuable communication and professional skills
Apply to become a GSOC Media Girl!
First-round applications for the 2027 Media Girls are open beginning October 1 through October 31. Those selected will be notified of next steps by November 12.
COMING SOONAn initial orientation is required on Tuesday, December 1. Additional training opportunities will be provided throughout the program year.
