Planning Large Events Course toggle arrow

Planning Large Events course is for any volunteer who is running an event for their Service Unit, a group of troops (over 4) or Council-wide. A large event is broadly defined as any event organized by Girl Scouts generally for Girl Scouts. This course is also helpful for Service Unit Team members who are assisting in the coordinator of Service Unit events. 

This is a required course to run a large events and completion of this course will be posted on the GSOC learning records.

One of many traditions in Girl Scouting is singing, whether it is a silly hiking song, a tune that is appropriate for a special ceremony, or just fun songs to be sung around the campfire.

Girl Scouts often make small tokens of friendship to exchange with the Girl Scouts they meet while traveling. These little gifts are called ”SWAPS,” which stands for “Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere.”
