Weekend Camp
Get away with your Girl Scout for a weekend of adventure with family (household members only) or Troop.
All campers will have fun developing new skills that last a lifetime. Weekend campers must be accompanied by a parent/and or Troop Leader for the entire weekend to meet proper adult:girl ratios.*
At Camp Scherman, all campers get to try their hand at favorite camp activities, which may include archery, canoeing, hiking, swimming, and low ropes, led by trained camp staff.
Weekend participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from camp.
Camperships Assistance Fund
Financial aid "camperships" are awarded to GSOC youth
campers with a current Girl Scout membership on the basis of financial
need only and are available for Camp Scherman summer sleepaway camps,
Camp Scherman weekend camps and GSOC day camps. Camperships must be
submitted no less than 6 weeks prior to the start day of the
camp.
