Experience a whole new side of winter. Bundle up and enjoy the crisp mountain air at camp. Chill out in a canoe, take aim at our snowflake archery targets, then come inside to warm your hands with a cup of Scherman cocoa. Don't forget to practice your skit to perform by the campfire. Let the beauty of a star-studded night sky take your breath away. Bring your hats, mittens, and any other winter essentials.
Attendees will stay in winterized semi-private Ranch House Cabins, with a shared restroom and sink area.

Have a unique and relaxing weekend camp experience with family and friends. Explore Camp Scherman's natural beauty and participate in staff-planned nature and camp activities for all ages, including: hiking, crafts, games, low ropes, evening campfire programs, archery, and canoeing.
You can provide your own tent, RV/camper, or there are two cabin options for families wanting to stay in cabins. Stay in one of our lower camp cabins or upgrade to a Ranch House cabin. Bring a propane stove to prepare your own meals or sign up for our weekend meal plan that includes seven meals prepared in our kitchen. Attendance and meals are free for children four and under (but all attendees must be registered).
Financial aid "camperships" are awarded to GSOC youth
campers with a current Girl Scout membership on the basis of financial
need only and are available for Camp Scherman summer sleepaway camps,
Camp Scherman weekend camps and GSOC day camps. Camperships must be
submitted no less than 6 weeks prior to the start day of the
camp.
