Get Started with Girl Scouts - Together!
Looking for a fun and easy way to begin your Girl Scout journey? Our Starter Troops are the perfect place to start! Girl Scout staff will lead the troop’s first four meetings— helping your girl make new friends, explore hands-on activities, and earn her very first patches. You'll be right there alongside her, sharing the experience and watching her grow.
As the troop gets going, Girl Scout staff will work with families to help volunteers take the lead—so the fun can continue through summer and into the new school year. We’ll provide the support and tools needed every step of the way.
Ready to Get Started?
Girls must be registered before attending the troop’s first meeting. Please note that a parent or caregiver is required to stay for the first four meetings to help the troop get started and understand how everything works. We also encourage parents to register as an adult and Troop Helpers and be part of the adventure!
Girl membership is $73 and includes 15 months of participation through September 2026, plus a patch at each meeting, access to special events, summer programs, and more! Adult membership is $42.
Financial Aid is Available
Financial assistance is available for membership cost and uniforms.
