Brownie Travel Patrol – Train Ride Day Trip

Learning how to travel is part of the Global Girl Scouting experience, and Brownies can start training for travel … with a group train ride! Along with their leaders and Global Action Team volunteers, Girl Scout Brownies will practice smart travel, make new friends and experience a bit of culture and history as they travel from the historic Santa Ana Train Station to the San Juan Capistrano Mission! Troop adults attend to learn travel trips.

San Francisco Travel Patrol

Girls plan the trip and travel with Global Action Team volunteers.

Plan a 5-day group travel, including budgeting, time management and solutions for the unexpected. The trip includes a visit to the Juliette Gordon Low birthplace, activities, tours, meals, transportation, lodging with Girl-led planning. Girls plan the trip and travel with Global Action Team volunteers

Stand on the National Mall to witness the next President of the United States take the oath of office and deliver the inaugural address. New York City is one of the most dynamic and diverse places in the world, making it an ideal trip for Girl Scout level 5 travel progression for Girl Scouts! GSOC Travel Patrol offers guidance through pre-trip planning meetings as girls work together to learn expert travel skills, budget time & funds and customize seven adventurous days in New York City! Connect with some of the world’s most influential women hosted by Girl Scouts of the USA. Be a part of the largest girl-led, in-person gathering of Girl Scouts that only happens every three years (various locations) and a National Bridging Ceremony. A Phenom(enal) Trip following the National Council Session; continue the adventure by exploring local sights! Girls plan the trip and travel with Global Action Team volunteers.

International World Center Travel Patrol

Ages: 16 and older
Dates: Winter 2025/2026 - Every 2-3 years
(Level 6 trip)
Includes Girl-led planning meetings.
Be a part of this magnificent opportunity to travel around the world to the World Centre in Sangam, India.  Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to stop at either Pax Lodge, England or Our Chalet, Switzerland enroute to India and learn about the WAGGGS Organization. Girls plan the trip and travel with Global Action Team volunteers.
To be eligible for this Travel Patrol, we recommend Girl Scouts attend two of the three prior travel patrol trips i.e. San Francisco, Savannah, GA, Girl Scout Convention and/or New York.
