Learning how to travel is part of the Global Girl Scouting experience, and Brownies can start training for travel … with a group train ride! Along with their leaders and Global Action Team volunteers, Girl Scout Brownies will practice smart travel, make new friends and experience a bit of culture and history as they travel from the historic Santa Ana Train Station to the San Juan Capistrano Mission! Troop adults attend to learn travel tips from the Global Action Team.

Partnering with GS of Central California, travel with your troop, fam8ily or Girl Scouts of Orange County to Sacramento! Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors explore Sacramento and meet Girl Scouts from across the state for a unique advocacy and leadership opportunity at the state capital!

Girl Scouts will hear from female leaders about the importance of civic engagement and celebrate women who have led positive change through their involvement in public policy and the Democratic process. Girl Scout Day at the Capitol connects you with California State leadership as you collaborate as changemakers in our communities! Sacramento is the ideal for Girl Scout level 4 travel progression trip for troops and Juliettes!

New York City is one of the most dynamic and diverse places in the world, making it an ideal trip for Girl Scout level 5 travel progression for Girl Scouts! From cultural events and inclusive communities to world-class museums and iconic attractions, NYC has activity options for every interest. GSOC Travel Patrol offers guidance through pre-trip planning meetings as girls work together to learn expert travel skills, budget time & funds and customize seven adventurous days in New York City!

Be a part of the largest girl-led, in-person gathering of Girl Scouts that only happens every three years (various locations) and a National Bridging Ceremony. Be a part of this magnificent opportunity to travel internationally.  Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to visit a WAGGGS world Center and connect with sister Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from around the world! Girls plan the trip and travel with Global Action Team volunteers.
To be eligible for this Travel Patrol, we recommend Girl Scouts attend two of the three prior travel patrol trips i.e. San Francisco, Savannah, GA, Girl Scout Convention and/or New York.
