Outdoor Cooking Adventure! Get ready to be a camp chef!
Event Time & Date: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, June 6,
2026
You'll learn how to plan tasty, nutritious meals and
make sure everyone's dietary needs are covered. Then, roll up your
sleeves and try cooking outdoors using:
- Charcoal fires
- Dutch ovens
- Propane stoves
- Buddy burners
- Box ovens
Along the way, you'll practice food and fire safety, learn the secrets of camp clean-up, and use a kaper chart to share the fun jobs.
And the best part? You'll take home recipes to cook again with your troop or family!
**This is a drop-off event. Chaperones will be provided to maintain Girl Scout safety ratios.
*This event is open to troops, Juliettes, and those with an active membership awaiting placement in a troop!
