Are you ready to take the next step toward earning your Girl Scout Gold Award? The Project Proposal Support Meeting offers Girl Scouts an optional opportunity to present their Take Action Project idea and receive informal feedback before officially submitting their proposal in GoGold and participating in the required council interview.
This session is designed to help girls build confidence and gain helpful feedback as they prepare to submit their Gold Award project proposal. A member of the Girl Scout Gold Award Support Team will offer guidance and informal input on their Take Action project plan. Please note: this is not a substitute for the required interview or training.
Who Should Attend:
Girls who have completed (or nearly completed) their required
prerequisites for the Gold Award and are ready to focus on their Gold
Award project. Troop/Group Volunteers, Project Advisors, and
Parents/Caregivers are welcome and encouraged to attend. This is not a
drop-off event.
Come Prepared:
Participants should be ready to share the issue they want to
address and their proposed plan to make an impact. Please note: this
meeting is not intended to help girls identify an issue or develop a
project from scratch. We recommend Girl Scouts take the Gold Award
training before attending.
Important Notes:
- This is not training. We recommend taking Gold Award Training on GS Learn before attending.
