Huntington Beach Girl Scout Sunset Camp Invites Girl Scouts of all ages to join us for a week of crafting and robotics fun.

Each participant will have the opportunity to explore the world of robotics and innovation while working toward earning robotics and tinker badges. This sisterhood style camp let's Girl Scouts in 7th Grade and above learn the art of Leadership. Girl Volunteers will learn how to plan and implement badge activities while engaging with Girl Scout Campers of all ages and abilities. Dinner break included nightly, please note a microwave is not available.

All Campers and Girl Volunteers will receive the following;
- 1 Fun Patch
- 1 T-shirt
- Dinner on Friday Night

Girl Scouts from Kindergarten through 6th Grade will register as Campers. Girl Scouts 7th Grade and above can register as a Youth Staff.

Please note, to foster independence and community, Volunteers will be stationed separate from their Camper, this includes Pixie Campers.
All Volunteers will need to register and pay a fee to cover documents and t-shirt.

Preschool/Tk aged children (Boys or Girls) ages 3-6 years old of Full Time Adult Volunteers welcome. These campers will be known as Pixie Level Campers.
 

Every Camper, Youth Staff, and Adult Volunteer will receive dinner on the last evening of camp!!!


Parents!!! This year we have an exciting opportunity for you to visit and see the fun your Girl Scout has had at Sunset Camp!!! Families will receive a special invitation to attend the Huntington Beach Sunset Camp Robotics Faire, dinner (optional), and special ceremonies on Friday evening.

Adult Volunteers: Adult Volunteers NEEDED!! We can't run this camp without YOU! We are looking for registered Girl Scout Volunteers.

All volunteers attending Service Unit Day camps must complete a fingerprint-based background check and an online Mandated Reporter Training. 

If you have not completed this process, email customercare@girlscoutsoc.org and put Mandated Reporter Training and/or Fingerprinting in the subject line. 

The only exception to this is if you're volunteering for only 1 day. 

All campers, Youth staff and full-time volunteers will receive a t-shirt. Extra t-shirts are $15 based upon availability.

Fees
Girl Scout Campers K - 6th grade **$100

Youth Staff 7th - 12th grade             $15

Pixies 3 - 6 yrs old with Full Time Adult Volunteer *$100

Adult Volunteers: Full Time and Part Time              $15

 

** Full Time Volunteers will receive reimbursement for one Girl Scout camper ($100 value) at the conclusion of camp.

 

* Part time Volunteers will receive $10 per day of Volunteering reimbursement of their campers registration fee at the conclusion of camp.

 

Please note: Health history and other camp forms will be collected digitally through CampDoc.com, a secure and easy-to-use electronic health record system for camps. Look for an invitation email from CampDoc.com approximately one week after registration is completed.

 

This event accepts Cookie Dough, OC Bucks, and Juliette Dollars! Girls must complete online registration and pay in full. Cookie dough must be submitted to the Camp Director prior to the end of camp. Reimbursement will be at the conclusion of camp once the Cookie Dough, OC Bucks, and Juliette Dollars! amount has been verified. Campers must attend the full week for reimbursement.
