Girl Scout Wellness Day: Find Your Balance
This GS Advocates field trip is an in-person Girl Scout Wellness Day designed to help participants "find their balance" through a blend of restorative and creative activities. The event features yoga on the beach along the Newport shoreline, followed by a wellness vision board workshop focused on mindset, goal-setting, and mental well-being. Participants will also enjoy lunch with friends, building connection and sisterhood in a relaxed coastal setting.
This experience is included at no extra charge for Girl Scouts registered in the GS Advocates: Youth Advocacy Certificate Series program. Registration for GS Advocates is only $10 for the entire year and includes monthly topic-based discussions, all led by the Girl Advisors to the GSOC Board of Directors. Members explore advocacy, voice, resiliency, community impact, and more.
The emphasis for this field trip is on self-care, mental wellness, and positive peer relationships, offering a refreshing and inspiring reset by the sea, surrounded by supportive sister Scouts.

Participants will receive the registration link for this event only after they have registered for the GS Advocates: Youth Advocacy Certificate Series.
*This event is open to troops, Juliettes, and those with an active membership awaiting placement in a troop!

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC OC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girl Scouts must complete online registration and pay deposit (if applicable) or in full. Then fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.
