About Voice for Girls 2020

This is a time like no other. The recent wave of social injustices has impelled companies and leaders across the nation to step up their quest for meaningful diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Last year at Voice for Girls, L. Song Richardson delivered a compelling keynote examining the role that unconscious bias plays in our own lives, as well as how it affects today’s girls and women.  We’re bringing Dean Richardson back for Voice for Girls 2020 to continue the important conversation on implicit bias, and how companies and leaders can bring meaningful and sustainable diversity to their organizations.

You'll also hear from Girl Scouts across Orange County who are taking action today to make our world a better place.

She is currently working on a book examining the history of race in the U.S. and its implications for law and policy.  Dean Richardson has worked with police departments seeking to understand and address the impact of race on their policing practices and in 2020 was appointed by Governor Newsom to the CA Penal Code Revision Committee.
