We know families may be financially impacted by current events and want to make sure you know that you can request assistance with membership dues by contacting Customer Care. Troop cookie proceeds are a great way to cover the cost of membership for your girls as well. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Official Terms & Conditions

1. Individual Incentives –  

Every girl & troop leader renewed by APRIL 15, 2023, will receive this year's Girl Scouts of Orange County T-shirt.

  • Girl and Troop Leader membership must be renewed by 11:59 pm PST on 4/15/23
  • Troop leader must renew membership and role.
  • T-shirts will be distributed through Service Units this Fall, 2023.
  • T-shirt design pending GSUSA approval.
  • Incentive cannot be transferred to another member.

Girls who renew by MAY 31, 2023 wil receive a free registration for GSOC's Fall Kickoff event.

  • Girl must be renewed by 11:59pm PST on May 31, 2023. 
  • Those who qualify will receive an emailed discount code to their parent email on file at the opening of event registration.
  • Entry cannot be transferred to another participant or used for a different event. Must be redeemed only for Fall Kickoff 2023.
  • Fall Kickoff event date is TBD.

All girls and troop leaders renewed by JUNE 15, 2023 will receive a 2023  National Membership Patch.

  • Girl and Troop Leader membership must be renewed by 11:59pm PST on June 15, 2023. 
  • Troop Leader must renew role as well. 
  • Patches will be distributed through Service Units this Fall.

2. Troop Incentives

Troops who renew 100% of girls and all Troop Leaders by APRIL 30, 2023 will be eligible to earn a cookie proceeds bonus of $.05 per package for the 2024 cookie program.

  • 100% of current MY23 girls and Troop Leaders must renew their membership and roles (TL) by April 30 11:59pm PST. Council must be contacted prior to this date and time with any questions or requests for help with this renewal. 
  • Graduating Girls WILL NOT be counted in the 100% calculation and DO NOT need to be replaced to qualify. 
  • All levels besides graduating girls DO need to be replaced with an extended year membership to qualify. 
  • Should a leader not renew their membership or role, they need to be replaced by a new extended year leader or a current adult member who is renewing and taking on the role. Leaders must complete registration by June 30, 2023.
  • All troops must have a minimum of two leaders for MY24 to qualify for this incentive. 
  • May 1 rosters will be compared against March 2023 rosters and troops who qualify will be notified on or before September 1.
  • Troops who qualify will receive an additional 5 cents (nickel) per package sold in alignment with all cookie proceed terms and conditions. This addition will be added and paid through normal cookie program proceed processes. All cookie program terms and conditions apply.
  • Troop must participate in the 2024 Cookie Program to receive this incentive. It cannot be transferred to any other troop or individual girl. This reward only applies to troops who qualify and not individual girls. If a girl transfers to another troop, she will not be able to take this incentive with her to the new troop. 

 

 

 

Trouble Logging In?

Q: Why isn’t my username working?
A: Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact your council’s Customer Care team.

Q: Why aren’t I getting the password reset emails?
A: The password reset emails come from gsusacustomercare@girlscouts.org, so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking our email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact your council’s Customer Care team to verify that your username/email address is correct.

Q: How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
A: Your council’s Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account.

Q: Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
A: There are a couple reasons this could happen:

  • Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact your council’s Customer Care team if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.
  • You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact your council’s Customer Care team to merge the two accounts into one.

Q: Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
A: There are several reasons this could happen:

  • Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
  • Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a volunteer in the troop.
  • Not all troop volunteers can access the troop tab. Check with your council to see which volunteer roles they allow to access the tab.
  • If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.
