Outdoor Older Girl Scout Leadership Training session. Are you looking to begin your leadership journey? Do you enjoy working with others, leading groups, and acting as a mentor? As an older Girl Scout, there are exciting opportunities for you to guide younger Girl Scouts by sharing your skills, passions, and leadership experience. This training will be facilitated by enthusiastic and experienced leadership volunteers. Throughout this training, you will gain the skills and information to learn and elevate your leadership skills, program, event planning and mentorship of other Girl Scouts.
Date: Saturday, June 14, 2025
Time: 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
Location: GSOC Irvine Headquarters - 9500 Toledo Way, Irvine.
This leadership training opportunity is open to older Girl Scouts Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. Cadettes (6th- 8th grade) will earn the Program Aid (PA) award and Seniors/Ambassadors will earn Volunteer-in-Training (VIT). PA or VIT pin will be awarded upon completion of requirements.
This event is open to all Girl Scouts, whether you belong to a troop or are a Juliette.
Cost:
$30.00 GSOC Girl Scout
$40.00 out of council Girl Scouts.
Cost Includes: Snacks and a pizza dinner, specialty supplies, resources, and FUN! Additional information will be sent in the event confirmation email.
** Please bring a water bottle and a sack lunch. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in.

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girl Scouts must complete online registration and pay the deposit or in full. Next fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.
GSOC Event Scholarship may be available upon request, please complete the GSOC Council Event Scholarship Form.
