This event will take place at Camp Scherman
Lifeguard certification course for adults 18 and older. Learn how to effectively prevent and respond to water emergencies with the American Red Cross lifeguard training. This training will provide you with the skills and knowledge to prepare you for a variety of scenarios in and around the water. With the successful completion of this course, participants will be an American Red Cross certified lifeguard with the waterfront component for 2 years.
Course Prerequisites: participants must be able to:
- Continuous swim a mix of Free Style and Breaststroke
- Tread water for 2 min.
- Complete a timed event with a 10lb brick.
When: June 6-8, 2025
Location: Camp Scherman
Cost: $195.00 in council/ $205.00 out of council
Participants must be registered Girl Scout members.
