Join OC Habitats (OCH) and Girl Scouts of Orange County (GSOC) to learn about our local inland habitats and species! By participating in our lesson and supplemental activities, you can earn your Girl Scouts' Animal Habitat Badge! The program consists of a virtual lesson on our local habitats and organisms and a field trip at Turtle Rock Nature Center in Irvine. We look forward to exploring with you!

July 10th, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Zoom
July 12th, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM at Turtle Rock Nature Center in Irvine*

Open to Juniors (Incoming 4th grade Juniors for Fall 2024 are welcome as well!)
Cost:
$15 per GSOC Girl Scout*
$20 per out-of-council Girl Scout
*badge is not included in program cost.
This is not a drop-off event and adults should plan on attending with their Girl Scouts. No tagalongs, please. All participants must be able to walk on dirt paths comfortably. Girl Scouts are expected to attend both event dates to earn the badge.
*This event is open to troops, Juliettes, and those with an active membership awaiting placement in a troop!

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC OC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girl Scouts must complete online registration and pay in full. Next fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.
