Join Barefoot Joel, professional naturalist, on a fun and educational hike through the vibrant, biodiversity-rich landscapes of Weir Canyon. This guided outdoor adventure is perfect for all experience levels and provides an opportunity to earn part or all of the Eco Badge and Junior Trail Adventure Badge.

We'll make frequent stops to spot birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and pollinators. Enjoy seasonal wildflowers like:
California poppy
Lupine
Mariposa lily
Pincushion
Chia
...and more beautiful bloomers along a sun-exposed
ridge lined with fragrant sage scrub.
Optional loop includes 350 feet of elevation gain.
Full sun exposure - bring plenty of water and snacks.
Badges not included in hike cost.
$20 per person (In Council)
$26 per person (Out of Council)
Minimum: 15 hikers | Maximum: 20 hikers
Note: This is not a drop-off event. All youth must be accompanied by an adult.

This event accepts GSOC Cookie Dough, GSOC Bucks, and GSOC Juliette Dollars! Girl Scouts must complete online registration and pay the deposit or in full. Next fill out the Reimbursement form prior to participating in the event.
