Flyer!

GS Advocates is a vibrant and inclusive alliance for teenage Girl Scouts who are passionate about advocacy, community engagement, and making a difference. The mission is to empower young women to tackle critical community issues, develop media literacy, and build resilience, all while celebrating diversity and ensuring every member feels included.

Through GS Advocates, you'll have the opportunity to earn a youth certification in leadership, advocacy, and other essential skills that will help you make a real impact. We balance our important work with plenty of fun, including exciting field trips designed to bring our community closer and deepen our understanding of the issues we care about.

This hybrid series includes both monthly Zoom meetings, typically the first Monday of each month. The GS Advocates meeting starts at 6pm. As part of this event we may be discussing the topics presented in the GS Lounge (stating at 5pm). All those registered are encouraged to attend if interested!

PLEASE NOTE: If you register for this month's event after 3:00PM on the day of the event, you will receive a link to next MONTH's event.

Please see event flyer for FAQs and Schedule.

Participants in the "GS Advocates: Youth Advocacy Certificate Series for Girl Scouts" only need to register once for the entire series, which includes both the monthly Zoom meetings and quarterly in-person outings. By registering, participants engage in monthly virtual discussions and advocacy activities, with the option to join the quarterly in-person outings. Each monthly meeting will feature a GS Lounge chat followed by the next steps for GS Advocates. This comprehensive series is designed to build advocacy skills over time, providing a flexible yet meaningful commitment.

*This event is open to troops, Juliettes, and those with an active membership awaiting placement in a troop!
