Join us for an afternoon of discovery and outdoor adventure at
Chino Hills State Park!
Celebrate Girl Scouts Love State Parks with your troop
or family as we explore the beauty and biodiversity of this unique
California landscape.

Time: Guided hikes begin at 4:30 PM (last hike
departs at 7:00 PM)
Location: Chino Hills State Park
🌄 Activities Include:
👣 Guided Nature Hikes
Experience the natural wonders of Chino Hills on a 30-minute
guided hike. Discover local plants, animals, and their habitats!
- Hikes depart every 30 minutes.
- Limited to 20 participants per hike.
- Sign-ups available when registering for this event.
🧠 Table Talks: Hands-On Learning Stations
Explore, ask questions, and connect with nature through
interactive learning!
- Biodiversity & Adaptation: Uncover how animals and plants thrive in this ecosystem.
- Sky Talk: Learn about the solar system and the role of seasonal changes.
- Tracks & Traces: Become a wildlife detective by identifying signs left by animals.
🚗 Additional Information:
- Parking: $10 per vehicle, payable at the entrance kiosk (horse camp area). Carpooling encouraged.
- What to Bring: Refillable water bottles, sun protection, and comfortable clothes for warm weather.
🏕 Optional Overnight Camping (Sept 12-13):
Want to extend the fun? Stay overnight under the stars at our
exclusive Girl Scout group campsites!
Camping Details:
- Check-out by 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 13.
- Primitive sites - bring your own gear, potable water, and table.
- Nearby restrooms; showers available 1 mile away ($0.25 for 5 minutes).
- No open flames or charcoal fires allowed.
- RVs permitted
- Space is limited! 3 campsites available (20 people max per site) - open to families or troops.

Cancellation Policy:
If your plans have changed and you will no longer be attending
overnight camp, please notify us by September 7,
2025. This allows us to offer the opportunity to other troops
and families who may be waiting for available campsites.
