Girl Scouts of Orange County are excited to offer FREE spots for current 8th-12th graders to join Chapman University's Summer Engineering Academy thanks to Chapman's Fowler School of Engineering!
This unique four-day program gives participants hands-on engineering experiences with Chapman faculty, plus a glimpse into college life-including a visit to the campus cafeteria.

Workshop Dates:
- Monday, July 21 - Python Programming from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 22 - Arduino Smart Car from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 23 - Machine Learning from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Thursday, July 24 - Design and Fabrication from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Python Programming: In this hands-on workshop, students learn Python basics, control flow, and data structures through projects that build real-world applications.
Arduino Smart Car: Build, code, and compete! In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore electronics, solder a custom circuit, and program an Arduino to power a car through an obstacle course.
Machine Learning: Explore AI, learn Python, computer vision, and how GPUs power deep learning-all in a hands-on, fast-paced workshop that turns curiosity into real-world skills.
Design & Fabrication: Learn to use laser cutters, CNC routers, and 3D printers in this hands-on intro to rapid prototyping. Explore additive and subtractive manufacturing -then take home a prototype of your own design.
