2020 VolCon Workshop - How To Run a Virtual Troop Meeting
In this workshop, we will review the new 'How to Run a Virtual Troop Meeting Safety Activity Checkpoints', GSOC’s At Home Resources and how to continue to foster a connection between girls virtually.
To attend this workshop, you must register for the 2020 Volunteer Conference. Confirmations to your individual workshops will be emailed to you prior to your session date.
Presenters: Jessica Castillo and Chrysti Polito
Jessica Castillo is a full-time Project Management Assistant, a Troop Leader of a multi-level troop, the Ocean View Service Unit Manager and a Volunteer Council Trainer. She has held many positions on several GSOC Committees and has served as the committee chair for the City of Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade for the past two years. Jessica is passionate about the Girl Scout Leadership experience and is constantly looking for ways to involve volunteers and girls in more Girl Scout program.
Chrysti Polito was a Girl Scout for 12 years and earned her Silver Award. She enjoys being a member of the Huntington Beach Pierside Service Unit team and wears many hats. Chrysti has two daughters and runs two multi-level troops, including is a special needs troop that has been her joy to lead for over 6 years. Chrysti is currently her own boss, running a learning center she started to create a community for homeschooled children to thrive in.
