Troops Have Reached Proceeds Level 4 – Let’s take it to Level 5!
Congratulations! This weekend troops jumped to Level 4 proceeds! Troops have picked up enough cookie packages to earn 74¢ per package! Let’s keep it going to 75¢! We can do this!

Hey, Parents!

It’s time to support her most successful Girl Scout Cookie Program ever! Whether she’s participating with her troop or through the Girl Scout Juliette Cookie Program (non-troop) she depends on you to help her set goals, track her progress, provide support when obstacles arise, and celebrate with her when she accomplishes her goals!

Learn how you can support your Girl Scout and her troop this Cookie Season! You may not be volunteering this year, but you can still play a huge part in her success. Watch this short video to learn how!

If your girl is participating as a Juliette, the 2020 Girl Scout Cookie Program Juliette Series is designed exclusively for independently registered Girl Scouts. Girls will have the opportunity to earn funds to support their favorite Girl Scout activities and participate in parent/daughter booth sales.

Through Girl Scout product programs, girls of all ages build self-confidence and develop valuable skills—such as goal setting, money management, and business ethics—while earning badges, patches, and prizes along the way. Juliette’s (and girls waiting for their troop to form) will also earn Juliette Dollars, which can be used to fund their Girl Scout activities.

She can embark on this unique entrepreneurial experience in just a few short steps:

  • Opt in to the Juliette Cookie Product Program Series: This will add her to the Juliette Cookie Product Program Series roster.
  • Three Easy Ways to Participate:
    • Order Card: Order only what you need!
    • Direct: Sell door-to-door or at a booth sale!
    • Digital: No money or product to handle; all ordering, and payment is done online!
  • Stay Updated: Access our weekly Cookie Product Program updates through the weekly Cookie emails.

View the Super Girl Rewards and Prizes she can earn as she accomplishes her goals. Plus, she can use the Badge Explorer to see what Financial Literacy badges she can work towards!

Dates to Remember:

  • February 1 – March 8: Turn in money to Juliette Coordinator.
  • March 6-8: Girls turn in final balance to Juliette Coordinator.
  • March 8: Cookie Program ends.

Please note that the Girl Scouts of Orange County offices and shop will be closed on Monday, February 17, for the Presidents’ Day holiday.

Rain or Shine: Booth Sales Begin this Friday, February 14 - Get ready to booth! Be prepared for the possibility of rain or heat. Store cookies off the ground and in a cool, dry location, like in an empty cooler or tarp-covered wagon. To prevent melting, store with a towel between the cookies and ice packs. Check with your Booth Sale Coordinator if an E-Z up is needed. Plus, Booth Angels will be visiting booths with certificates starting this weekend!

Review the Booth Sale Guidelines and Tips (Troop Plan Book pages 21-24) with your girls and check out our awesome tools for selling, which includes printable Cookie Share receipts and a Cookie Share flyer.

If you need to cancel a booth sale reservation, you must cancel in Smart Cookies right away, preferably by 10am the Monday prior so we can open the shift for other interested sellers. Thank you!

Adult Booth Sale Training
The online Adult Booth Sale Training is now live! All Adults participating in booth sales must complete online Booth Sale training, even for parent/daughter booth sales. Get Started Here.

Social Media Posts
Girls 13 and older may use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and text messages, IMs and emails as online marketing tools to let family, friends and former customers know about the Cookie Program.  Girls under 13 cannot independently set up online marketing sites but can use their parent or guardians online sites with their approval and supervision.

Girl safety is always our first concern. We are guided by our Girl Scout Promise & Law in all our activities, including empowering girls to learn entrepreneurial skills through our girl-led cookie program.
