For my Silver Award Project, I organized on a Disability Awareness Fair at my school. I arranged for seven organizations that help people with disabilities to set up booths and give speeches. Throughout the day, students visited the booths and learned about different disabilities. As the day went on, I saw a change in the demeanor of the children from “whatever” to being caring and interested. This experience truly showed me the kind of impact I can have on the world.
