Volunteers Change Girls' Lives
WHY VOLUNTEER?
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Girl Scouting. Whether you have an hour, a day, a weekend or more, there’s an opportunity for you to make a difference in girls’ lives.
As a Girl Scout volunteer, you’ll add meaningful days to girls’ lives and to your own as well. Parents often get involved in Girl Scouting with their daughters, but Girl Scout volunteers come from all walks of life and backgrounds--college students, busy professionals, and young-at-heart retirees. Volunteers perform many key functions like creating events, taking photos, managing cookie sales, sharing career experiences, teaching scrapbooking or helping girls learn outdoor skills… just to name a few. Whatever your schedule and interests, there’s a way you can help make a difference in girls’ lives.
