Virtual Cookie Share

Most Cookie Share sold is via the Council virtual option.  Girls sell Cookie Share, collect payment and provide receipts to customers.  Troop Cookie Managers then enter the Cookie Share sales into SNAP using the reorders choice.  The Council chooses the variety of cookies and delivers them to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County and to the VA Hospital in Long Beach. (See Troop Plan Book for Cookie Share information and instructions on entering Cookie Share into SNAP.)

Only virtual Cookie Share is entered into SNAP using the reorder feature.  

Troop’s Own Cookie Share

Troops who choose to donate their cookies to another organization take cookies from their booth sale inventory (extra cookies) and deliver to their chosen organization.  (See Cookie Share information in Troop Plan Book).  Troops then allocate the cookies to girls just like other booth sale cookies. (See Girl Transfer information in Troop Plan Book). 

DO NOT use the reorder feature in SNAP to record these sales or Troop will be ordering and owe payment for additional cookies!

Cookie Share Patches

Girls that sell 12 Cookie Share packages either via the Council virtual option or through the Troop’s own Cookie Share earn a Cookie Share patch.

ALL Troops must fill out and submit the Patch form as part of their final paperwork to receive Cookie Share patches.  Troops who do not submit this form, will not receive patches.
