Discovery Science Center's "Scout Sundays" are a great way for Girl Scouts  to explore Discovery Science Center and work toward specific Journey awards.  Scouts will have access to all exhibits, special hands-on learning stations and activities, and interactive demonstrations – created just for them!  Visit http://www.discoverycube.org/visit/scout-sundays/ for more information. This fun competitive event for Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts is held at Newport Dunes annually.  Troops come out and compete against each other in swimming, boating, knots, compass, relative bearing and more.  It is a great time for older girls to see each other and spend a weekend having fun on the water.  A competitive spirit is optional, but good sportsmanship is required.
