Could Nursing be a career for you? Come join Saddleback Nursing students for this workshop designed to discover nursing as a career! The workshop will include demonstrations of skills nurses perform, basic physical assessment, hand hygiene/infection control, basic first aid and allergic reaction treatment. The actual nursing students will be available to answer questions about Saddleback College's Nursing Program and any other nursing career or schooling questions. Registration due 5/6. This event is already completely booked! Girls- Do your know what to do in an emergency or disaster situation? We see many in the news everyday- but what can we do to be prepared? In this event we will go through the steps of a pretend zombie apocalypse, as if it was real, and learn about being prepared for any emergency. You will earn portions from various Journeys (list provided at event), an Emergency Preparedness Patch and most of the OC Girl Scouts Quake Safe badge.
