South Coast Repertory, Orange County’s Tony Award-winning theatre, has teamed up with Girl Scouts of Orange County to create the Theatre for Young Audiences Patch Program for Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies and Juniors.  This program allows girls to experience one of three plays and complete related activities.  Theatre ticket prices range from $18 to $26 for girls and $23 to $32 for adults.  Patches will be available for sale at the Girl Scout Shop.  For more information, email Cindy Beyl at gsscrpatch@aol.com.

Come learn or practice sailing, rowing, canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding and join the fun at ToGetHer Boating! You may also try knots, marlinspiking, compass and relative bearing skills! Through attending this event girls will seek challenges in the world, develop healthy relationships and feel they belong to a big sisterhood. Cadettes look for the ME in media and learn how they can shape media—for themselves, their community and the world. Stories are told everywhere and in all kinds of formats – in movies by big Hollywood studios, online by bloggers and through social networks, through the clothes chosen by stylists for a fashion spread in a magazine, through the photos chosen by a newspaper editor.
