Badge event for Brownies and Juniors at the Bowers Kidseum, Santa Ana
Min/Max: 75/120

Find out about Native American life at the Kidseum in Santa Ana. A Native American speaker will educate the girls about customs and traditions of their way of life. Girls will create clay coil pots, sand paintings and taste some Native American delicacies. The culmination of the workshop will have the group enjoying an authentic Pow-Wow in which girls will learn Native American games, dance steps and songs.

Girls will receive the "Understanding the Native American" Brownie or Junior Badge at the event.

This event is also a great tie-in to "A World of Girls" leadership journey for brownies as they explore various cultures, as well as learning how to make a pinch pot for the brownie "Potter" badge, and correlates to the "aMUSE" leadership journey for juniors as they identify different roles that people play in a tribe.
