Sow What Journey Series

$40 per girl, Anaheim Program Center and Field Trips.

Sow what- a summer journey for Senior Girl Scouts to learn more about their food and the global food network! Learn about the food choices you make, and how they have an impact on your planet! Buy locally grown produce, cook and eat together! And Take Action for the Harvest Award!

This journey is open to Girl Scout Seniors- Girls entering 9th and 10th grade next fall.

*Completing 2 Senior or Ambassador journeys or earning the Girl Scout Silver Award and 1 Senior or Ambassador journey is the prerequiste for the Girl Scout Gold Award.*

July 19, 9:30am-Noon- Tanaka Farms Tour

July 20, 9am-Noon- Buena Park Farmers Market

July 21, 2-5pm- Anaheim Program Center

August 3, 10am-3pm- Anaheim Program Center

Cost

$40 per girl- Includes price of journey book, pin, farm tour and journey materials

Through participating in this Series and earning the Harvest Award of the Sow What journey, Senior Girl Scouts will develop healthy relationships, critical thinking and feel empowered to make a difference.
