Girl Advisor to GSOC Board of Directors- Application Due
For Girl Scouts entering Senior or Ambassador level next fall
The Girl Scouts of Orange County is looking for Girl Scouts to sit with the board of directors in an advisory position. The board of directors consists of adult volunteers who are elected by the council membership at the Annual meeting held in March. Board members represent a variety of skills and interests and broadly represent our geographic area. The GSOC Board of Directors makes policy, approves finances, interacts with the community, relates to the CEO and sets the long range goals for our council.
This year, we are actively seeking girl candidates for up to the three advisory positions. If you are currently a Girl Scout in the ninth, tenth, or eleventh grade, are interested in planning for the future of Girl Scouting, and have the time to prepare for and participate in approximately 8 meetings per year, then this may be the opportunity for you. First meeting will be in June 2013.
