14316 - Troop Tent Camping

6:30pm - 9:30pm. Check-in begins at 6:15pm in Room B

Location: Anaheim Program Center, Room B - 1769 W. Broadway, Anaheim, CA 92804

Register by: 4-29-13

Required for: At least one registered adult per troop when camping. Completion of training will be required to take your troop camping overnight to sleep in tents or open shelters.

Prerequisities: Volunteer Essentials AND Indoor Overnight Adventures (home study - Available after October 25, 2012)

Successful completion of this course will train you for:

1. Sleeping in tents or open shelters

2. Safety wise-approved public and private campgrounds

Troop camp at Camp Sherman and service unit/community campouts

Attendance and completion of the online pre-course and the in-person course is required for credit.

Although there is no fee for this class, please consider making a donation to the Girl Scouts of Orange County.
