Prerequisites: Volunteer Essentials, Indoor Overnight Adventures (home study), AND the Outdoor Cooking online pre-course

 Successful completion of this course will train you for:

  • Girl-planned and prepared outdoor meals using charcoal fires, Dutch ovens, propane stoves, buddy burners, and box ovens
  • Adult supervised and girl managed use of charcoal and wood-burning fires
  • Cooking in parks and program centers for day trips and picnics

Note: It is recommended that you take Troop Tent Camping before Outdoor Cooking. See the online training calendar for future training dates.
