By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Utilize age-appropriate group and individual behavior management techniques.
  • Identify resources for program activities that meet the needs and interests of girls and meet Girl Scouting goals for girls.
  • Apply the girls/adult partnership to planning activities with girls.
  • Utilize resources to evaluate progress of troop/group.
  • Implement the program for Girl Scout Brownie awards.
  • Develop a troop budget.

If possible, please bring your Brownie Girls Guide to Girl Scouting and a Brownie Journey book of your choice (all available through the GSOC shop):

  • It's Your Wold - Change It! - "Brownie Quest"
  • It's Your Planet - Love It! - "WOW! Wonders of Water"
  • It's Your Story - Tell It! - "A World of Girls"

Although there is no fee for this class, please consider making a donation to the Girl Scouts of Orange County.
