14124 - Troop Tent Camping

6:30PM - 9:30PM Check-in begins at 6:25pm in the Juliette Gordon Low Conference Room

Location: Irvine Headquarters, J.Low - 9500 Toledo Way, Irvine, 92618

Register by: 4/20/14

Required for: At least one registered adult per troop when camping. Completion of training will be required to take your troop camping overnight to sleep in tents or open shelters.

Prerequisites: Volunteer Essentials, Indoor Overnight Adventures (home study), AND Troop Tent Camping Online Pre-course

Successful completion of this course will train you for:

1. Sleeping in tents or open shelters

2. Safety wise-approved public and private campgrounds

3. Troop camp at Camp Scherman and service unit/community campouts

Attendance and completion of the online pre-course and the in-person course is required for credit.
