First Aid Level 2 (Wilderness First Aid) - Day 1 Training 19301
Must attend BOTH training days to earn certification:
Day 1: Saturday, 3/30/19, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Day 2: Sunday, 3/31/19, 8:30am - 5:00pm
$85.00 per scout. Includes booklets, certification and some supplies.
First Aid Level II (Wilderness First Aid Training) – 2 year Certification
Designed for Girl Scouts and Girl Scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away.
Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold a current adult CPR/AED certification.
Girl registration is 14 -18 years old & Adult registration is 18 & older.
By the end of First Aid Level II (Wilderness First Aid Training), you will understand how to attend to:
- Primary and Secondary Assessments
- Head/Brain, Neck and Spinal Injuries
- Heat-Related Emergencies
- Altitude-Related Illnesses
- Allergies and Anaphylaxis
- Bone and Joint Injuries
- Wounds and Wound Infection
