We know how Girl Scouts LEAD, but how do they LEED? You can held the Girl Scout Leadership Center become LEED certified!

Girl Scouts of Orange County is seeking LEED Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, and we need every girls' help to Go Green!

What is LEED Certification?

LEED Certification is a points based system that promotes energy and environmentally efficient building techniques to ensure a better tomorrow. The Girl Scout Leadership Center is build with many ecofriendly features, and we want to install permanent educational signs to point them out!

How can Girl Scouts help?

We are looking for troops and individual girls to create educational signs about the green features at the Girl Scout Leadership Center. These signs will help our building earn points toward LEED certification. As Girl Scouts, we are always looking for ways to use our resources wisely and make the world a better place. Educating others today is a great way to show our commitment to a sustainable tomorrow!

Who can participate?

Girl Scouts of all levels are welcome to participate in this contest, with each scouting level aligned to a specific eco-topic to feature in their signs. Multi-level troops should choose one level to enter. Multiple entries can come from one troop, however, each entry must be entered singly. Questions? Contact
