FINANCIAL AID

**Financial aid deadline to apply is May 1, 2017 for Resident Camps!**

For many years, fees for attending Camp Scherman have been largely subsidized by Girl Scouts of Orange County. Our three-tier pricing program allows families to see the actual "per girl" cost (Tier 3) to operate Camp Scherman and to choose from three price tiers. Families choose the fee plan (tier) that is most appropriate for their family's financial circumstances.  All girls have the same unforgettable camp experience, regardless of pricing tier.

At Girl Scouts, we believe that camp is for every girl. And thanks to our generous donors we’re thrilled to be able to offer financial assistance to those that qualify in order to give more girls the opportunity to experience Girl Scout camp.

Financial assistance is available for girls who qualify and submit a campership application.

Use the online registration system to make your deposit and submit the Financial Assistance Application separately to our office.

Please note: You must register online before your Financial Assistance Application will be processed. Notification of financial assistance granted will be made within three weeks of submission. If Financial Assistance is requested, Cookie Dough will be applied first.

COOKIE DOUGH

Use your "dough" to attend camp! Girls who have earned Cookie Dough, OC Bucks or Juliette Dollars through the Girl Scout Fall Product or Cookie Program can apply their balances to help pay for girl participation at Summer Resident Camp, Day Camp, Weekend Camp or Family Camp. You can even use it to purchase camp merchandise in the GSOC Shop. Hooray!
