Watch her inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker,
Leader)TM flourish this summer at Camp Scherman.
At camp girls find the courage within themselves to make new
friends, embrace the unfamiliar by trying new things, and discover
adventure in the outdoors with a new found fearless enthusiasm! As
they make choices and take on challenges, girls learn to collaborate
with others, become self-reliant, and develop their lifelong
leadership skills. Whether she's testing her courage on the Low Ropes
Course, taking aim in archery, canoeing on Promise Lake, or singing
songs under the stars she'll learn how to #CampLikeAGirlScout.
Interested in leadership opportunities at Camp Scherman? The
Counselor in Training Program is a great way to share your love for
the outdoors with fellow Girl Scouts. Serve as a CIT I, CIT II, WIT,
or Apprentice. Responsibilities vary by position.
Registration for 2019 Resident Camp will be available
January 21, 2019.
All summer sessions run Monday through Friday unless otherwise
indicated. Transportation to and from summer camp is provided by a
charter bus company with experienced mountain drivers. All campers
will receive a special edition Camp Scherman patch and t-shirt.
Not a Girl Scout? No problem! A summer at Camp Scherman offers
all girls a safe and supportive girls-only environment to learn new
skills, build confidence, and create lifelong memories with new
friends as they have fun at every turn. If she's not a Girl Scout she
can still register for camp (additional fees apply).
