Cookie Share

Cookie Share is a Girl Scout community service project which allows girls the opportunity to sell virtual “Cookie Share” cookies that are distributed to our nation’s soldiers and local food banks.

Through the Cookie Share program, customers can purchase boxes of cookies to be donated to military troops, hospitalized veterans, and local food banks. In 2016, Girl Scouts of Orange County donated more than 64,000 boxes of cookies, with more than 20,000 boxes going to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Girl Scout Cookies, which Second Harvest Food Bank distributes to individuals at food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters, give those in need a familiar treat they wouldn’t otherwise be able to enjoy.
